What is it with Mob bosses being so defensive all the time? The least little joke and they assume someone’s gunning for their position. I mean lighten up, right? Why couldn’t he just cap his sneeze?

I’m just saying I feel like this might not be a really healthy work environment, for anyone.

Why does the Lord hate hymns? Well, I’m glad you enchoired…God’s preference in music has changed over the years, just like anyone else’s. Why, back in 120 A.D. when he listened to nothing but the birds in the trees, the peerless lyre, and the death throes of gladiators, Hymns were the Devil’s music. Then after he got a little more exposure to them he grew to really appreciate their monotonous droning and lack of harmony. He had a special fondness for the Gregorians. But nowadays his tastes have matured moved on, to more modern, darker tunes– the kind that hearken back to his wild days in the Old Testament. Sure, it’s a bit cheesy and nostalgic, but it beats the hell out of those self-righteous, miserable psalms!

Curiosity killed the house! And it landed on my cat! Totally worth it though…only cost 2.5 billion in shipping, and now I don’t have to do my laundry for days!

Ah true love…they may both be shambling corpses before long, but doesn’t it just gnaw at your heartstrings all the same? Yes, theirs is an all-consuming romance. Their love is infectious, like a horrible, apocalyptic virus that reanimates feelings in your body you thought were dead and buried long ago.

Sorry but someone’s got to say it– The Dark Knight Rises was kind of disappointing!

Batman only put on the suit about 3 times total. The ‘World’s Greatest Detective’ got sidelined while characters we just met figure out what’s going on and determine Gotham’s fate for the majority of the film. Joseph Gordon Levitt was particularly useless. And… ‘Robin’? If you’re going to go that route his name is either Dick, Jason or Tim, thank you very much. Frankly, the film would probably have been a lot cleaner without him, and probably without Marion Cotillard as well.

We have more gripes about the movie…glaring plot holes (how did Batman get back to Gotham so fast after escaping the pit?), unclear character development (Catwoman screws over Batman very seriously not once but twice yet their reconciliation is dismissed out of hand), and anticlimactic conclusions (Bane’s demise was not the least bit cathartic– though in this case perhaps that was the point). But  we’ve hashed and rehashed them all so much with each other already and it’s late right now so I’m going to leave it at that. If you’re interested in telling us why we’re haters leave a comment and we can duke it out together tomorrow.

I think pets should be named purely based on pun potential. Puntential? Like my cat Gato. I Gato let him out or else he’ll meow loudly. Or our other cat Finnigan. He can’t decide whether he wants to be inside or outside, so we call him “Finagain, Outagain.”
